Meet our Physicians
Dr. Rita Awad
Dr. Rita Awad. MB BCh, CCFP. Family physician and active member of College of Physicians and Surgeons of Ontario. She graduated from the faculty of medicine at Alexandria University in 1990. She has been in practice in Canada since 2011. She speaks English and Arabic.
Dr. Awad completed her family medicine residency in Newfoundland.
She is our kindest physician and the person to go to for problem solving.

Dr. Abdelshahid
Dr. Raafat Abdelshahid. MB BCh, CCFP. Family physician and active member of College of Physicians and Surgeons of Ontario. He graduated from faculty of Medicine at Cairo University in 1986. He speaks English and Arabic.
Dr. Abdelshahid is a great listener, and strong advocate for his patients.
Dr. Oussama Fares
Dr. Oussama Fares. MB BCh, DESS. CCFP. Family physician and active member of College of physicians and Surgeons of Ontario. He graduated from the faculty of medicine at the Cairo University in 2001. He completed a degree in health services administration at the school of public health at the University of Montreal. Dr. Fares completed his residency in family medicine at McGill University in 2011. Dr. Fares has an interest in men's health and psychotherapy.

Dr. Narmin Ibrahim
Dr. Narmin Ibrahim. MB ChB. CCFP. FCFP. Family physician and active member of College of physicians and Surgeons of Ontario. She graduated from faculty of medicine at Salahaddin University in 1986. Dr. Ibrahim specialized in Gynaecology and Obstetrics before completed her family medicine residency at the University of Saskatchewan. Dr. Ibrahim recently moved to Ottawa from Saskatchewan where she practiced family medicine and provided obstetrics care for 17 years. She received additional training in cosmetic procedures. She speaks English, Kurdish and Arabic.
Dr. Ibrahim is very passionate and serious about her work. She knows more than average about war and peace.

Dr. Nassef Beshara

Dr Nassef Beshara
Family physician and active member of College of physicians and Surgeons of Ontario and the college of family physicians of Canada.
Dr. Beshara graduated from the faculty of medicine at the Cairo University in 1996. With a strong knowledge in internal medicine ,he moved to Ottawa from Quebec where he practiced family medicine for 7 years.
Dr. Beshara speaks English, French and Arabic and passionately works with his patients to find the best care they need.
​Dr. Mamdouh (Andrew) Andrawis
Dr. Mamdouh (Andrew) Andrawis, MD, MSc Derm, CCFP,FCFP, DPD
is a Family Physician with a special interest in Dermatology in Bath, Ontario. He is on The Board of Directors of Primary Care Dermatology Society of Canada and a member of the International Dermoscopy Society. He is an adjunct assistant professor with the Department of Family Medicine at Queen’s University and lecturer at Ottawa University. He enjoys teaching residents and medical students the skills of family medicine and Dermatology.
Dr. Andrawis has completed family medicine residency in 2004 at Queen’s University. He obtained Diploma in Practical Dermatology from Cardiff University in Wales and completed further training in Dermoscopy and finally he earned MSc degree in Dermatology from university of South Wales. He was awarded a Fellowship designation in the College of Family Physicians of Canada.
Dr. Andrawis has a Focused Practice Designation in Dermatology as recognized by the Ministry of Health and Long-Term Care and the Ontario Medical Association.
